BJU will host a Student Safety Seminar on Tuesday, Oct. 29, in Stratton Hall at 6:30 p.m. Courtney Palmer, a crime prevention specialist with the Greenville Police, will speak at the seminar to offer practical advice and tips that will help students be aware of potential dangers present in today’s society. Students will be able to text in questions, and Palmer will answer as many questions as possible at the end of the seminar.

All students are invited and encouraged to attend. Miss Colleen Reilly, women’s counselor and an organizer of the event, said she would like to see Stratton Hall filled with students. Reilly said the information presented at the seminar will be relevant to both men and women students, as it is important for the student body to know how to protect themselves as well as others.
