Bob Jones University hosted a career fair for students on Feb. 7-9th. The event was held in the Davis Room from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m.  With over 75 companies represented along with several graduate schools, this event was a great way for students to make connections for their future careers.

On the first day of the event, BJU hosted employers from the business and communication fields. The second day they hosted employers from the health professions and STEM fields. Finally, the event concluded with employers from the social services, criminal justice and education fields. Students are encouraged to attend all three days to maximize their opportunities.

Contrary to popular belief, this annual event is not just for seniors. There are several benefits for freshmen, sophomores, juniors and seniors. Students can expand their professional network, learn more about a job or company, investigate new possibilities and practice their elevator pitch. Every major can benefit from attending this event as an opportunity to network with industry professionals, practice interacting with employers and learn about different career paths.

Students who attend these types of events should dress professionally and bring copies of their resumes. Students can find more information about potential job opportunities on the career services website or visit the Career Center located in Alumni 206.
